Global Eagle specializes in VSAT communications for deep field operations. Global Eagle provides multiple VSAT solutions to the Humanitarian community, including broadband internet connectivity, bandwidth optimization, voice/data services, remote backhaul services, emergency response, rapid deploy solutions, and live TV and content for moral recreation and welfare. Global Eagle (formerly Emerging Markets Communications) has been providing mission-critical services for the past 15 years to approximately 800 UN/NGO offices in over 140 countries—directly for 12 UN agencies and indirectly for around 25 UN Agencies and NGO’s, including some of the largest international humanitarian organizations.
