SilvaTex LLC

SilvaTex LLC
SilvaTex was formed to market the AM47 process for use on textiles that reduce the risk to first responders, care-givers, doctors, and patients when working with bacterial hazards. Treated woven and non-woven textiles such as sheets, pillowcases, blankets, haz-mat suits, hospital curtains, masks, and other items exhibit anti-microbial properties of at least a log3 reduction in microbial growth after 24 hours using standard tests. We have demonstrated the AM47 process effectiveness on many fabrics against many bacteria. Many more tests have shown the effectiveness of using silver nanoparticles against viruses and bacteria including antibiotic resistant strains.
