MPOWERD Inc. is a New York City-based Certified B Corp that creates innovative and affordable products to help people fit clean energy into their daily lives. In 2012, MPOWERD created Luci®, an inflatable solar light, with the goal of making an affordable clean energy product that people could use in any situation — from outdoor camping adventures to backyard parties to everyday living for people in developing countries without electricity.
Besides our award-winning Luci inflatable solar lights, which are popular in retail here at home, what makes us special is our mission and sustainable approach to change worldwide. We want to help the billions of people around the world living without electricity, so we built a business model that lets us get our lights to them at a price they can afford.
