LIFESAVER
LIFESAVER systems ltd was established in 2007 by Michael Pritchard, with a global humanitarian mission – to end water poverty. LIFESAVER has pioneered an innovative nano-filtration technology that removes all bacteria, parasites, viruses and cysts: instantly transforming dirty water into sterile drinking water without chemicals, power or UV light. The ability to generate sterile water on demand for drinking and hygiene, eliminates the need to store water clean. LIFESAVER’s patented technology sits at the core of all its products: • The 0.75L bottle delivers up to 6,000 litres of sterile water • The 5L cube provides 5,000 litre of sterile water; developed in conjunction with DFID and Oxfam it is optimised for emergency response, 180 cubes fit on a standard air pallet • The 18L jerrycan provides households with up to 20,000 litres of sterile water; 3,500 jerrycans were deployed by the UK government to the Philippines as part of the DFID Rapid Response Facility • The 750L C2 provides communities with two million litres of sterile water. Over 2500 C2’s have been deployed across Sarawak as part of an ongoing Malaysian Government initiative to eliminate rural water poverty
