The Humanitarian Leadership Academy is a global learning initiative set up to facilitate partnerships and collaborative opportunities to enable people to become more resilient in the face of disaster and give them the training and skills to respond to crises in their own countries. In the next five years, the Academy is opening ten centres in targeted locations, reaching out to vulnerable communities. The Academy has a free digital learning platform – Kaya – it is a one-stop shop which allows anyone to access free courses for humanitarian response.
